About me
Hello there! First off, thanks for being here and supporting Mythologie! I wanted to introduce myself—humanize my small business if you will—in a world full of drop shippers, AI robots, and scammer websites. Places where you wonder, "If I buy something, will I get my bank account broken into?" I've been there.
So! If you'd like to experience the whimsy of shopping at a bookshop boutique, but would also like to remain in your pajamas, we see you. And if you'd like to go out on an adventure, don your armor or perhaps a pointy hat! We'd love to see you at one of our events.
I am frequently asked why I started this little shop, and in short, it's because it brings me joy! Mythologie started with only my artwork and sculptures, but I quickly realized I wanted it to be more. I wanted it to be a one-stop shop for fantasy fans and book dragons—everything I would want in a store.
I was the child with the big imagination. The girl that always searched for fairies in the bushes, who tried every St. Patrick's day to catch a leprechaun, who dreamed about dragons and pretended her bike was a unicorn. As a makeup and special FX artist working in the film & TV industry, I guess you could say I never stopped living with my head in the clouds. I still live in the world of make believe and still wish to find a magical portal whilst hiking in the woods. But until that fateful day, I will continue to bring magical creatures to life with clay or paint and sell you magical books and wares. I hope you enjoy Mythologie as much as I do.
